Cooking Instructions - General COOKING INSTRUCTIONS WHISK 1¼ cups (300 mL) cold beer (1 bottle beer less 2 swallows) with whole pouch of beer batter mix in large bowl until smooth. PAT fish or seafood dry on paper towel. DIP fish or seafood in batter until well coated. Shake gently to remove excess. Deep Fry - From Ambient DEEP FRY: Preheat vegetable oil in deep fryer to 375 ° F (190 ° C). Add battered fish, a few at a time. Deep fry 3 to 5 minutes for fillets or small fish, turning once until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon. Drain on paper towel. Serve immediately.
