STOVE TOP DIRECTIONS Yield: 3 2/3 cups (900 mL) prepared. Ingredients: Rice vermicelli mix, 1 packet special seasonings, 675 mL (2 3/4 cups) water, 30 mL (2 tbsp) margarine. Method: In large pan, combine rice vermicelli mix and 2 tablespoons (30 mL) margarine or butter. Cook over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently. Slowly stir in 2 3/4 cups (675 mL) water and special seasonings; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat to low.Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
