Deep Fry - From Ambient Deep fry: Preheat vegetable oil in deep fryer to 375ºF (190ºC). Add coated fish and deep fry 3 to 5 minutes for fillets or small fish, turning once until golden brown. Remove with slotted spoon. Drain on paper towel. Serve immediately. Hob - From Ambient Pan fry: Heat 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) vegetable oil on medium-high. Add coated fish. Pan fry about 2 minutes per side, for fillets or small fish, until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Serve immediately.
