Ingredients
Long Grain Rice, Maltodextrin, Modified Corn Starch, Onion Powder, Salt, Tomato Powder, Dried Red And Green Bell Peppers, Dried Ricotta Cheese (Modified Milk Ingredients, Lactic Acid, Salt), Spices (Contains Chili Pepper), High Monounsaturated Canola And/Or Soybean Oil, Yeast Extract, Dried Chicken Broth, Natural And Artificial Flavour, Silicon Dioxide, Sunflower Oil, Pea Protein Isolate, Rice Flour.
Preparation And Usage
You will need:
2 1/2 cups (625 mL) water + 1 tbsp (15 mL) margarine or butter
STOVE-TOP DIRECTIONS:
1. STIR uncooked rice, seasoning mix, water and margarine in 2-quart (2 L) saucepan.
2. HEAT to boiling, stirring frequently. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer about 25 minutes, stirring once, until rice is tender. Remove from heat; uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands).
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
Prepare as directed above, using 2-quart (2 L) microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on High 5 minutes, stirring once. Microwave on Medium (50%) 20 to 25 minutes longer, stirring once, until rice is tender. CAUTION: Dish will be very hot!
Important: Because microwaves cook differently, times are approximate.
