Preparation And Usage

To make 12 cupcakes you will need: DO NOT EAT RAW CAKE BATTER 2/3 cup (150 mL) water 3 tbsp (45 mL) vegetable oil 1 egg 1 Heat oven to 350℉ (180℃). for aluminum pan or 325℉ (162℃) for nonstick pan. Place paper baking cups in 12 regular-size muffin cups. 2 Mix cake mix, water, oil and egg in medium bowl with mixer on medium speed or beat vigorously by hand 2 minutes. Divide batter among cups (about 3 tablespoons each). 3 Bake 14 to 19 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; carefully remove from pan. Cool completely before frosting. 4 Squeeze frosting pouches about 10 seconds to soften. Cut 1/2-inch tip (1 cm) from corner of frosting pouch. Squeeze about 1 tablespoon (15mL) of frosting onto each cupcake; frost. MAKE IT A CAKE! Heat oven to 350℉ (180℃) for aluminum or glass pan or 325℉ (162℃) for nonstick pan. Grease bottom of 8- or 9-inch square baking pan. Make batter as directed above; pour into pan. Bake 8-inch pan 23 to 28 minutes; 9-inch pan 18 to 23 minutes. Cool completely in pan; frost and serve.
