Haddock is a mild, white, flaky fish that is suitable for any cooking application and has long been the staple fish preferred by Icelanders.
When battered and fried, makes classic “Fish and Chips”. This versatile fish is also excellent baked, poached, or in chowders and does very well in the pan. Haddock has a very mild flavor, slightly sweet, with white flesh and finer flakes than cod.
The Green Ocean Wild Icelandic Haddock bears our "Fish with Nothing to Hide" icon which means it is produced without the use of any phosphates and preservatives. The fish is also caught in a very responsible manner, earning the MSC certification and Ocean Wise recommendation.

Handling instructions:
Cook from defrosted.
Defrost overnight method: place the bag in a bowl and leave in the refrigerator overnight to thaw.
Defrosted fish should be used within 24 hours. Do not refreeze defrosted fish.
Although we have made every effort to remove all bones on occasion one may be found.
