COOKING INSTRUCTIONS / FOR 4 SERVINGS: Bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and 1 cup of rice. Stir with a wooden spoon. Cover and cook at a steady simmer until rice is tender, for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally during cooking. When rice is "al dente", firm to the bite, drain water and serve in a warm serving bowl.
