ALL YOU NEED: MAKES 6 SERVINGS
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
- 2 lb (1 kg) cubed boneless stewing beef
- 2 cups (500 mL) water
- 5 cups (1.25 L) cubed vegetables
ALL YOU DO:1. HEAT oil over medium-high heat in large saucepan. Brown beef in batches.2. RETURN beef to saucepan. Stir in water and seasoning mix.3. BRING to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.4. ADD vegetables. Simmer 30-40 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
