Enriched Wheat Flour, Sugars (Sugar And/Or Golden Sugar, Corn Syrup), Walnut Pieces, Modified Palm Oil, Modified Corn Starch, Baking Powder (Baking Soda, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate), Salt, Monocalcium Phosphate, Toasted Wheat Germ, Corn Starch, Monoglycerides, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Natural And Artificial Flavour, Bht.

Preparation And Usage

Add one ripe banana You will need: 1/2 cup (125 ml) water 1/4 cup (50 ml) vegetable oil 2 eggs 1/2 cup (125 ml) mashed ripe banana (1 medium) Time to bake! 1 Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease bottom only of 8x4-inch (1.5 L) or 9x5-inch (2 L) loaf pan. 2 In medium bowl, stir all ingredients just until blended. Pour into pan. 3 Bake 40 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; run knife around sides and remove from pan. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Makes 12 to 14 servings. No banana? Use 2/3 cup (150 ml) water, 1/3 cup (75 ml) vegetable oil and 2 eggs. Follow directions above. Also makes muffins 1 box Betty Crocker™ Banana Bread Mix ¾ cup (175 ml) water ¼ cup (50 ml) vegetable oil 2 eggs Heat oven to 425°F (220°C) or 400°F (200°C) if using dark or nonstick pan. Place paper baking cups in 12 regular-size muffin cups. Stir all ingredients together, in medium bowl, just until moistened. Divide batter among muffin cups. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and tops spring back when touched. Cool 5 minutes; carefully remove from pan. Cool completely.
