Cooking & Usage Tips
You will need:
2 cups (500 mL) Boiling Water
2/3 cup (150 mL) Milk
2 tablespoons (30 mL) Margarine or Butter
TRADITIONAL OVEN DIRECTIONS
Bakes Up Golden Brown in 35 Minutes!
1. HEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. MIX Potatoes, Sauce Mix, boiling water, milk and margarine in a greased 6 cup (1.5 L) casserole or 9-inch (23 cm) square baking pan.
3. BAKE uncovered 30 to 35 minutes or until top is golden brown and potatoes are tender. Remove from oven (sauce will thicken as it stands).
QUICK & EASY STOVE-TOP DIRECTIONS
1. HEAT Potatoes, Sauce Mix, hot water, milk and margarine to boiling in a 2-quart (2 L) saucepan over high heat, stirring occasionally.
2. REDUCE HEAT; COVER and SIMMER
15 to 16 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and sauce is as thick as you'd like. (Sauce will also thicken slightly as it stands).
