Defrosting
Refrigerator
Defrost in the refrigerator overnight in the original bag.
Microwave
Quick defrost method (1000 watts):
1. Remove bag from packaging.
2. Place unopened bag of frozen ribs on a microwave-safe plate.
3. Pierce 2-3 holes in bag and place in centre of microwave.
4. Microwave on medium for 5 minutes or until sauce has fully defrosted.
Barbecue
Medium 8 - 10 min. turning as required
1. Preheat barbecue to medium.
2. Remove defrosted ribs from packaging and set aside the extra sauce in bag.
3. Place defrosted ribs, bone side down, onto barbecue grill.
4. Barbecue ribs for 8 - 10 minutes, turning as required, until a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached.
5. Baste with reserved sauce during last few minutes of heating.
Conventional oven
375°F (190°C) 18 - 25 min.
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Remove defrosted ribs from packaging.
3. Place defrosted ribs, bone side down, on a shallow baking tray on middle oven rack.
4. Bake for 18 - 25 minutes, until a minimum internal temperature 165°F (74°C) is reached.
TRAY WILL BE HOT; USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING TRAY FROM OVEN.
