Preparation And Usage

Directions: 1. Add 1/4 cup (50 mL) of milk into Gulab Jamun Mix. Knead gently. Apply a small amount of ghee (clarified butter) to your palms and prepare 25 round pieces. 2. Prepare sugar syrup by dissolving 1 sup (300 g) g Sugar into 1½ cup (300 mL) of water and boil for 5 minutes. (To enhance flavor add a few drop of rose essence, cardamom and saffron to the syrup). 3. Use ghee (clarified butter) for deep frying and set on low heat. 4. Initially fry just one Jamun. If it slowly rises to the surface, fry the remaining Jamuns (If the first Jamun comes up too fast, allow ghee (clarified butter) to cool down a little). Continue frying until the Jamuns become golden brown. 5. Soak Jamuns in hot sugar syrup for 30 to 35 minutes. Note: If product bag is not intact, please do not use product.
