Preparation And Usage
PRESERVING
Allow preserves to stand until the steam ceases to rise from the surface. Pour 1/8" (0.32cm) of paraffin over the entire surface and allow to cool. A second 1/8" (0.32cm) should then be added and the jar rotated to form a positive sanitary seal. A small tongue inserted between the two layers, makes it easy for removal of the paraffin. To get the best results every time for your home canning, first tighten the lid securely, then flip the jar upside down and dip lid into FLIX-O paraffin.
OTHER USES
Use as a lubricant on zipper, sliding windows and drawers. Lubricate and wax your snow skis, snow surfboard and tobaggans with FLIX-O paraffin wax. Superior for all bruise trees.
