Cooking instructions
1. As lentils, peas and beans grow near the ground, sort and rinse prior to cooking.
2. In a pot combine 1 cup of blend and 3 ¼ cups of water. Bring to a boil.
3. Boil, uncovered for 5 minutes.
4. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
5. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
To prepare in rice cooker please follow cookers instructions and use same water ratios. Add more water if needed to reach desired texture.
Substitute water for broth/stock for enhanced flavour
Storage
Storage: store in a cool dry place. Once opened reseal using zip seal.
Preparation And Usage
Apply to your favourite rice or grain recipe. Use in salads, soups, as a side dish or entree.
