Ingredients
Soft Tortilla: Enriched Wheat Flour, Water, Palm Oil Shortening, Glycerin, Mono And Diglycerides, Salt, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Baking Soda, Potassium Sorbate, Fumaric Acid, Calcium Propionate, Wheat Starch, Amylase, Xylanase.
Fajita Sauce: Water, Tomato Paste, Sugar, Salt, Modified Corn Starch, White Vinegar, Chili Pepper, Sea Salt, Spices, Citric Acid, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder.
Fajita Seasoning: Corn Starch, Salt, Sugar, Sea Salt, Spices, Chili Pepper, High Monounsaturated Vegetable Oil (Canola, Soybean And/Or Sunflower), Citric Acid, Caramel Colour, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Onion Powder, Silicon Dioxide, Yeast Extract, Natural Flavour, Garlic Powder, Annatto.
Preparation And Usage
YOU WILL NEED
1 lb (500 g) boneless chicken
1 bell pepper, 1 onion
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
¼ cup (50 mL) water
your favourite toppings
1 PREPARE FILLING
- Slice chicken, pepper and onion into thin strips.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add chicken strips; cook and stir for about 5 to 7 minutes, until completely cooked and no longer pink in centre.
- Stir in ¼ cup (50 mL) water, Seasoning Mix, pepper and onion. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 3 to 5 minutes until vegetables are tender crisp, stirring frequently.
2 WARM TORTILLAS
Oven Method
- Heat oven to 325℉.
- Remove from package and wrap stack in foil.
- Bake 10 minutes.
Microwave Method
- Remove from package & place on microwaveable plate.
- Cover and microwave on High for about 45 seconds until warm.
3 FILL & SERVE
- Spoon some fajita filling onto each tortilla.
- Top with desired toppings and Fajita Sauce. Roll up to serve.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
