Preparation And Usage
PREP
HEAT oven to 400°F. Moisten about 1 kg (2.2 lb.) chicken (about 6 to 8 pieces) with water.
SHAKE
SHAKE chicken, 1 piece at a time in shaker bag with 1 pouch coating mix. Discard bag and any remaining coating mix.
BAKE
BAKE chicken at 400°F in a foil-lined pan until done (minimum internal temperature of 170°F when tested with a meat thermometer).
Boneless - 20 to 25 min.
Bone-in - 40 to 45 min.
Do not turn or cover chicken while baking.
TIPS!
For crispy potato wedges, cut 450 g potatoes into wedges. Dip in beaten egg, then coat with coating mix. Spread onto greased baking sheet. Bake in 425ºF oven 25 min. or until tender.
