Cooking & Usage Tips

What you will need FOR 12 LAVA CAKES 2 eggs + 1 cup + 2 tbsp (290 mL) of milk + ½ cup (125 mL) of butter PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Combine contents of package with eggs and milk (or water). Mix well. 2. Add melted butter and whisk until smooth. 3. Divide the mixture into a previously oiled muffin pan (or ramekins). 4. Bake at 400℉ (200℃) for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are firm and centre still molten. 5. Gently unmold the lava cakes. Serve. DO NOT CONSUME RAW BATTER. CAN BE FROZEN. Culinary tip You can also make 6 lava cakes by using half of the mix with ⅔ cup (150 mL) of milk, 1 egg and ¼ cup (60 mL) of butter.
