Cooking & Usage Tips
Directions: in a large frying pan, heat 15 ml (1 tablespoon) vegetable oil over high heat. Brown 350 g (3/4 lb.) pork or chicken cut into thin strips. Remove from heat and set aside. Add 15 ml (1 tablespoon) oil to the pan. Add 1 sliced onion, 2 stalks celery sliced diagonally into pieces, 2 julienned carrots (1 cup), half a green bell pepper and half a red bell pepper cut into strips, and sauté for about 3 minutes. In the meantime, stir the pouch contents into 375 ml (1 1/2 cup) cold water and pour over vegetables. Add the meat and 454 g (11b.) bean sprouts. Bring to a boil and simmer for at least 3-4 minutes.
Suggestions: serve over crispy noodles with cashews and chopped chives.
Variation: serve with Suwong Fried Rice And Spare Ribs.
