Directions for Spare Ribs Sauce Mix Empty contents of pouch into a medium saucepan. Add 250 ml (1 cup) of cold water; mix well. Bring to a boil. Ribs recipe 1. Boil 1.4 kg (3 lb) small pork ribs (spare ribs), uncut, in water for about 2 hours. 2. Drain the ribs and place in a baking dish. Pour the sauce mix over the ribs and bake for 30 minutes. This marinade is also delicious with all the other pork products (cocktail sausages, pork tenderloins, meatballs).
