Cooking & Usage Tips

Cooking instructions Conventional oven 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). 2. Remove roast from protective packaging. 3. Place roast and its juices into a foil lined roasting pan or baking tray. Add 1/2 cup of water. 4. Cook for 2 hours to 2 hours 20 minutes. 5. Remove roast from pan and let rest for 10 minutes. 6. Carefully remove elastic strings. Set aside top pork crackling to cut into pieces. 7. Slice the roast and serve. For a shredded Porchetta: Follow cooking instructions, steps 1 to 6 as per above. 7. Transfer roast to a large bowl, and shred it thoroughly with two forks. 8. Add the juices from the roasting pan. For conventional oven Cooking time is 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours. Individual appliances vary; these are guidelines only.
