Gingerbread Almond Latte

Ingredients
- 3 cups brewed coffee blend, prepared according to package instructions 750 mL
- 1 carton almond beverage 946 mL
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon 5 mL
- 1 tsp ground ginger 5 mL
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 mL
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg (plus extra for garnish) 2 mL
- 1 tsp honey (optional) 5 mL
- 6 cinnamon sticks
Directions
Step 1
Combine coffee, almond beverage, ground cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and nutmeg in a medium saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat.Step 2
Pour into 6 small heatproof mugs; add honey (if using). Garnish each mug with cinnamon stick and additional pinch of nutmeg. Tip: Add 2 tbsp (30 mL) spiced rum to each mug before filling with coffee mixture. To make Spiced Gingerbread Mocha Affogato, spoon vanilla soy ice cream into individual glass tumblers. Top each with 1/2 cup (125 mL) hot Gingerbread Almond Latte.
