Mexican-Style Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients
- 4 oz (125 g) Cocoa Baking Chocolate, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) ground cinnamon
- pinch of cayenne
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp (10 mL) toasted sesame seeds
Directions
Step 1
Combine chocolate, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, cayenne and sea salt in double boiler set over barely simmering water. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 8 min. until chocolate is melted and smooth. Transfer to fondue pot; keep warm over low heat.Step 2
Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve with Compliments Shortcake Cookies for dipping, if desired.Step 3
Tip: Alternatively, dip chopped fruit such as strawberries, mango, banana or pineapple. Gently reheat any leftover fondue and serve over ice cream.
