- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- Zest of 1 orange
- Optional: Additional melted white chocolate for drizzling
Directions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and combined. Add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla, whisking until the mixture is light and fluffy.Step 3
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.Step 4
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.Step 5
Gently fold in the chopped cranberries, walnuts, white chocolate chips, and orange zest, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.Step 6
Spread the batter onto the prepared sheet pan, using a spatula to spread it out evenly. The batter should be thick and sticky.Step 7
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.Step 8
Allow the blondies to cool completely in the pan. If desired, drizzle melted white chocolate over the top for an extra touch of sweetness.Step 9
Slice into squares and enjoy!Step 10
Tip: For an extra citrusy burst, sprinkle a little extra orange zest on top after drizzling with white chocolate.
