Apple, Cheddar & Bacon Pie

Ingredients
- 1 prepared pie shell
- 4 cups peeled, sliced (1/4-in./5 mm thick) Granny Smith apples 1 L
- 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- ¾ cup grated Aged 5 Years Canadian Cheddar Cheese 175 mL
- ⅓ cup lightly packed brown sugar 75 mL
- 1 tsp fresh thyme 5 mL
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Pre-bake pie shell according to package directions. Lower oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).Step 2
Toss apples with bacon, cheese, brown sugar and fresh thyme. Spread evenly in pie shell. Bake 1 hour and 10 min. or until apples are tender.
