Cooking instructions:
Fill pot ¾ full with water, salt water to taste and bring to a boil. Place frozen perogies in boiling water without crowding them. Stir occasionally with a spatula or wooden spoon to prevent sticking. When the perogies begin to float turn the heat to a gentle boil and continue cooking for 5-8 minutes or until the perogies have puffed up. Using a slotted spoon carefully remove the perogies from the boiling water and gently toss in melted margarine or butter. Serve with sautéed onions, bacon bits and/or sour cream.
To reheat and serve, try frying cooked perogies in a pan with melted butter!
