GET THE BEST FROM YOUR PASTA, COOKING THE ITALIAN WAY. 1 Bring 4-5 liters of water to a boil. Add salt to taste. 2 Add pasta to boiling water, stirring occasionally. 3 For authentic al dente pasta, boil for 8 minutes. For more tender pasta, boil an extra minute. 4 Drain well and serve.
