Preparation And Usage
One time use only
Prepare your lids and bands
1. Lids are for one-time use only.
2. Bands can be reused.
3. Wash in hot, soapy water. Rinse well.
Use your lids
1. Fill jars according to your recipe instructions.
2. Wipe any food from rims of jar.
3. Center new lids on jars. Apply bands, adjust until fit is fingertip tight.
Check the seal
1. After processing, allow jars to cool for 12 to 24 hr before checking seal.
2. Press center of lid. Lid should not flex up and down when pressed.
