You will need 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter or margarine⁺, softened (not melted) 1 egg ⁺ Do not use reduced fat margarine. DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH 1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C) or 350°F (180°C) for nonstick cookie sheet. 2. Stir Cookie Mix, softened butter and egg in a medium bowl until dough forms. Drop dough by (22 to 24) rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches (5 cm) apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. 3. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 22 to 24 cookies. Betty's tip: to make 12 extra large cookies, drop dough by about 3 tablespoonfuls (2½ inches apart) and bake 17 to 19 minutes at 350°F (180°C) or 325°F (160°C) for nonstick cookie sheet.
