1. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 ½ cup (375 ml) of water to a boil.
2. Add 1 cup (160 g) of pearl couscous, ⅛ tsp (0.6 ml) of salt (optional), and 1 tbsp (15 ml) of butter or olive oil (optional).
3. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 10-12 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. Enjoy!
