Stove top 1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cup (375 ml) of water, 1/4 tsp (1 ml) of salt (optional), 1 tbsp (15 ml) of olive oil or butter (optional) and bring to a boil. 2. Stir in 1 cup (180 g) couscous and cover. 3. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. Enjoy! Microwave Microwave ovens vary. Adjust time accordingly. 1.
