Cooking instructions
1. Rinse 1/2 cup of wild rice in cold water and strain. Repeat 2 times.
2. In a small pot combine 1/2 cup of rinsed wild rice and 1 1/2 cups of water.*
3. Cover and bring to a boil on medium heat. Continue to cook for 10 minutes.
4. Remove from heat and let stand until desired texture is reached. Strain and serve.
*Substitute water for broth/stock for enhanced flavour

Rehydration alternatives:
A. Combine 1/2 cup wild rice in minutes with 1 1/2 cups hot water. Cover for 30 minutes. Strain.
B. Combine 1/2 cup wild rice in minutes with 1 1/2 cups cold water. Cover and let stand for 90 minutes. Strain.
