Preparation And Usage
Servings (about 180 ml [¾ cup] cooked rice) 2-3: Rice (dry) - 120 ml, ½ cup; Water or Broth* - 180 ml, ¾ cup; Butter or Oil - 7.5 ml, ½ Tbsp.
Servings (about 180 ml [¾ cup] cooked rice) 4-6: Rice (dry) - 240 ml, 1 cup; Water or Broth* - 360 ml, 1 ½ cup; Butter or Oil - 15 ml, 1 Tbsp.
Servings (about 180 ml [¾ cup] cooked rice) 8-10: Rice (dry) - 480 ml, 2 cup; Water or Broth* - 720 ml, 3 cup; Butter or Oil - 30 ml, 2 Tbsp.
To prepare in a rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio. *If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 15-30ml (1-2 Tbsp.) liquid and cook longer.
1. Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot, and bring to a boil.
2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low simmer, and cook 15 minutes.
3. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork.
