Directions
Strawberry Pie:
1. In a large bowl, combine 1 package MPK Glaze Mix with ⅔ cup sugar. Mix very thoroughly.
2. Gradually add 1 cup hot water.* Mix vigorously with wire whisk, whip or beater until glaze is smooth and clear.
3. Slice 2 pints (1 quart) fresh strawberries; stir into glaze. When strawberries are well coated with glaze, arrange them in a baked 9" pie shell.
4. Chill at least 1 hour. Garnish, if desired, with whipped cream or ice cream.
*Note: Adjust water, if desired, to preferred thickness.
Variations:
Banana glaze pie: Substitute bananas for strawberries in above recipe.
Toppings: For ice cream sundaes or cheesecake.
