Cooking & Usage Tips
Cooking instructions:
Ensure internal temperature reaches 74 °C (165 °F).
A) Traditional method (recommended)
1. Add 2 tsp. (10 ml) cooking oil in a non-stick pan, and place frozen Dumplings in a single layer.
2. Add 1/2 cup (125 ml) of cold water. Cover pan and let steam for 3 minutes, remove cover and let water evaporate.
3. Reduce heat to medium and cook until one side is brown (crisp). Serve with dipping sauce.
B) Soup
1. Use a medium size pot and add: 4 cups water, 2 cups of broth, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. sesame seed, 1/4 tsp. sesame oil, 1/2 cup of chopped carrots or favorite vegetable, bring to boil.
2. Add Dumplings and return to a boil, gently stirring from time to time to prevent sticking, boil for 3 minutes. Add 2 tsp. (10 g) chopped green onion and 1 tsp. (5 g) chopped cilantro and serve.
C) Microwave :
1. In a microwaveable container place 5 dumplings and 1.5 tbsp. of water.
2. Cover with unvented lid and microwave on high for 2 minutes to steam.
3. Serve with dipping sauce.
