DIRECTIONS - Makes 300 mL
STOVE TOP: Empty contents of pouch into a saucepan. Whisk in ⅔ cup (150 mL) of cold water and ⅔ cup (150 mL) of milk. Mix well. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
MICROWAVE: Empty contents of pouch into a 1-L (4-cup) microwave-safe bowl. Whisk in ⅔ cup (150 mL) of cold water and ⅔ cup (150 mL) of milk. Do not cover. Microwave on HIGH until sauce comes to a boil, mixing with whisk once every minute. Cook 1 to 2 minutes longer. Mix well before serving. For a creamier sauce, replace water with milk.
