Hob - From Ambient Cooking Method 1. Soak Rice Rinse rice thoroughly. Soak completely for 20-25 minutes and then drain out the water. 2. Boil Water In a cooking pan add 2 cups (400 ml) of water for every cup (200 g) of rice and bring to boil. 3. Cook Rice Add rice and salt (1 tsp for every cup of rice) and cook in an uncovered pan for 8-10 minutes on medium heat. Remove pan from heat and drain out the water. Serve hot.
