Preparation And Usage
Blondie mix
You will need :
2 large eggs
6 tablespoons (3 oz) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup add-ins of your choice
- chocolate chips
- nuts
- dried fruit
- coconut
- fresh or frozen fruit
For dairy free blondie's, replace butter with ⅓ cup oil of your choice
1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8" square pan.
2 In a large bowl, beat blondie mix, eggs and melted butter, until smooth. Mix in add-ins of your choice. Blondie batter should be thick. Spread batter evenly into pan.
3 Bake 22-27 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted into center comes out clean. A few crumbs are ok. Cool in pan before serving.
Apple cinnamon blondies
1 pkg. XO Baking Co.® Blondie Mix
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
6 tablespoon butter (3 oz)
2 large eggs
¾ cup chopped apple (¼" pieces)
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8" square pan. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the Blondie mix, ½ tsp. cinnamon, melted butter, and eggs, until smooth. Stir in chopped apples, followed by the nuts, if desired.
Spread the batter into the prepared pan. In a small bowl mix together the 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over the top of the pan. Bake 22-27 minutes, or until tooth pick inserted into center comes out clean. A few crumbs are ok. Cool in pan before serving.
