Cooking & Usage Tips
Cooking directions:
Bring a large pot of water to boil, add noodles and cook uncovered on maximum heat as follows:
12 mm extra large (black package) 6-7 minutes
10 mm large (red package) 5-6 minutes
5 mm medium (blue package) 3 minutes
3 mm small (purple package) 2 minutes
1 mm extra small (baby blue package) 1 minute
Vermicelli (green package) 1 minute
Drain and serve.
Serving suggestions:
Soup noodles: try serving with Y & Y Brand selection of Thai soups for an exotic spicy meal.
Fried noodles (chow fan)
1. Rinse cooked noodles with cold water, drain.
2. Add 2 tbsp. of cooking oil to drained noodles and mix well.
3. In a large frying pan, heat 2-3 tbsp. cooking oil, add noodles and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Place fried noodles on a plate.
4. Fry your favorite vegetables or sliced meat and place on top of the fried noodles, add gravy if desired. Sprinkle drops of Y & Y Sesame Oil on top and serve hot.
Or heat 2 cans of Y & Y Brand vegetables and serve over stir-fried noodles. Serve vegetable noodles hot.
