Cooking instructions
Measure 1 cup of Jasmine rice, 1½ cups cold water and 1 teaspoon salt into a saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon butter or margarine if desired.
Bring to boil, stirring once or twice. Cover, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or untill water is absorbed. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. For firmer rice, use less water.
