Ingredients

  • 16 Compliments Frozen Meatballs
  • 1/2 cup Compliments Original Barbecue Sauce 125 mL
  • 8 dinner rolls, warmed and split
  • 4 slices mild Cheddar cheese, halved
  • 8 small lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices plum tomato

Directions

  1. Step 1

    Combine defrosted meatballs and barbecue sauce in medium microwaveable bowl. Heat according to package directions.
  2. Step 2

    Divide meatball mixture onto bun bottoms. Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato and bun tops.
  3. Step 3

    Substitute provolone cheese for the Cheddar. One mini sandwich is just the right size for a kid’s lunch.
