Ingredients

  • 200 g butter (1 cup)
  • 60 g icing sugar (½ cup)
  • 300 g all-purpose flour (2 ½ cups)
  • Strawberry jam

Directions

  • Step 1

    Mix flour, butter, and icing sugar into a smooth dough

  • Step 2

    Roll to 3 mm thick between parchment paper; chill for 2 hours.

  • Step 3

    Cut star shapes with a cookie cutter. Cut small circles in half the stars.

  • Step 4

    Bake at 340°F for 20 minutes until lightly browned.

  • Step 5

    Spread jam on full stars. Dust cutout stars with icing sugar.

  • Step 6

    Assemble for festive holiday treats.
